Throughout the course of the semester, I learned a lot about how to make proper, professional, and detailed CAD drawings. Not only was I learning methods on how to model whatever part I needed to, I was also learning how to relay these 3D models in the way engineers do in industry. From tolerances and GD&T to complex geometries and assemblies, I learned the ins and outs of PTC Creo. As such, I used it throughout my college career for any and every project that required a 3D model or a part drawing for manufacturing purposes. I loved every moment of this class and performed exceptionally well, earning full marks on every major assignment. I enjoyed the class so much that I decided to become a learning assistant for the class during my Senior year at Boston University. During this time I helped teach the class, using all of the knowledge I've gained during my time as a student and helping other undergrads learn these important skills. Below are examples of the drawings I have made of parts I modeled in CAD as an example of the standard I aim to meet with CAD drawings.
Note: All of the drawings you see below are from parts that I have modeled myself unless otherwise stated.
